Welcome to Strandcamping Mentl. Nestled between the Gerlitzen and the Ossiacher Tauern in the heart of Carinthia lies the idyllic Ossiacher See. Pure water, clean air, southern climate and bathing temperatures up to 28 degrees make the hearts of camping friends and nature lovers beat faster. The very well-kept camping site offers parcelled pitches with electricity connection, partly also direct water and waste water connection, modern heated sanitary building with children’s facilities, baby bath, nappy-changing room, individual washing cabins, facilities for the disabled, washing machines, dryers, ironing facilities. Two children’s playgrounds as well as children’s entertainment in our Knusperhäuschen contribute to the entertainment of the kids. For sports enthusiasts, hiking, cycling, morning gymnastics and various ball games are offered. (wonderful network of cycle paths). Lake Ossiach is also a true paradise for fishermen. In our own fishing water many a big pike, carp, pike-perch, catfish, eel…. caught. In the Café Restaurant Tamara you will be spoiled with national and international cuisine and with a convivial get-together in the camping buffet you can end the active or also relaxing day. Due to the central location of our campsite, a variety of sights, excursion destinations and hiking areas can be reached in a short time. With the Carinthia Card you can visit and use these excursion destinations, as well as the boat trips and mountain railroads at a favorable all-inclusive price.
